Emanuel von Baeyer founded his art business in London in 1998. He is well known for his strong focus on graphic arts and paintings from the 15th to the 21st century. The inventory includes prints, drawings and paintings by artists from the 15th to the 20th century as well as a selection of works by contemporary artists.
We regularly produce detailed sales catalogues. Our catalogues are of a high art-historical standard, often including new research on hitherto undocumented items and are frequently cited in scholarly literature.
Emanuel von Baeyer regularly participates in numerous international fairs: London Original Print Fair, Frieze Masters London, IFPDA Print Fair New York, Paris Print Fair, Munich Highlights, and TEFAF, Maastricht. He is a member of the International Fine Print Dealers Association (IFPDA), and a member of the International League of Antiquarian Booksellers (ILAB).
He is also a member of the Society of London Art Dealers (SLAD) and the Chambre Syndicale de l'Estampe, du Dessin et du Tableau (CSEDT).

Preparatory drawing for the full-page frontispiece of the German edition of Oscar Wilde’s ‘Short Stories and Fairy Tales’, first published by Insel Verlag Leipzig in 1911.
After seeing Vogeler’s preparatory sketches for the book project, Carl Ernst Poeschel, art director at Insel, wrote: “The drawings are not only good, they are in fact some of the best work that you as an illustrator have ever produced.” (Neteler p. 67/35).
