Grant Third edition
The Salon du Dessin is delighted to announce the third edition of the ‘Bella Maniera Publication Grant’, an award that supports research into antique and 19th-century drawing.
With a prize of €3,000, entirely funded by a patron, the ‘Bella Maniera Publication Grant’ aims to support the production of a publication (article, exhibition catalogue, monographic or thematic book) on ancient and 19th-century drawing in Europe.
Applications are open until 1st December 2025.
All art historians (students, heritage or art market professionals, independent researchers, etc.), regardless of nationality, who wish to publish in a book or scientific journal are eligible to apply.

About Bella Maniera
A non-profit association recognised as being of general interest, Bella Maniera was founded in 2015 by Sarah Catala, Frédérique Lanoë and Jane MacAvock. It contributes to the promotion of drawing by offering numerous activities to support research.
By becoming a member, you participate in this patronage and enjoy benefits such as access to private tours and meetings with professionals and enthusiasts of drawing. The association is open to everyone: students, museum and art market professionals, curious minds and enthusiasts.
An independent association, Bella Maniera promotes historical drawing and supports the consultation of drawings. Its dynamism is based on the investment of volunteers and the generosity of its members.

Artists nominated for the 2026 Drawing Prize of the Guerlain Foundation
Cathryn Boch, Simon Schubert and Renie Spoelstra are the three artists nominated for the 19th Daniel and Florence Guerlain Contemporary Art Foundation Drawing Prize.

This year, the musée d’art moderne André Malraux (MuMa – Le Havre is exhibiting works from its collection at the Salon du Dessin, where it is the guest of honour.
