Didier Aaron : vue de la galerie

The Paul Prouté Gallery was founded nearly 150 years ago. It has been located since 1920 on Rue de Seine, in the heart of the Saint-Germain-des-Prés district. Today, it is run by the fourth generation of art dealers.

Through the publication of two catalogues per year (in June and December), the gallery offers a wide selection of drawings and prints from the 16th century to the present day, featuring original works by artists such as Dürer, Rembrandt, Goya, Whistler, Vallotton, Picasso, Matisse, Debré, Delaunay, and Asse. Additionally, the gallery regularly publishes thematic or monographic catalogues (such as Jean-Baptiste Sécheret in 2021, Printmaking in France in the 17th Century in 2023, and Henri Guérard in 2025).

The quality and authenticity of the works are the gallery’s main principles, and it counts among its many clients the most prestigious French and international institutions, as well as discerning and passionate collectors. The gallery is also a founding member of the Salon du Dessin and participates in the Fine Arts Fair.
